Urban Exploration

When I found out a photographer had moved in as my next door neighbor, I was extremely surprised. Out of all the cities in this country and living arrangements in this town. Needless to say I have a shooting buddy. We've started shooting as a group and this week started exploring our local area only to expand into the city and God knows where else next week. Whatever we stumble upon.

Shortlived Fireworks

I wasn't able to go to any fireworks event to shoot fireworks. I couldn't make it to Jacksonville, and it poured everywhere else. Luckily, a few guys had some mortar shells they were launching off in the area and I just shot a few of those.

That's my dog!

I made our dog, Spooky, a new wire so he could go out and run in the courtyard when we're outside, so he can be free to run instead of being cooped up or limited to a small leash. He seems to be enjoying the outdoors.

Sunrise

So I got a new camera lately. I haven't been taking too many pictures with it because I really haven't seen anything worth shooting, but I did catch a clear sunrise yesterday morning after Debbie moved out of our hair.

Disney!

Gooby, pls. I just got back from Star Wars Weekends, and boy do I have a blog entry for you. We left early Friday morning around five in the morning. We arrived at about eight o' clock and rushed into Hollywood Studios considering we couldn't check into our hotel until four o' clock. After all was said and done, it was a total male retreat back at the hotel. We went back to Hollywood Studios for pictures with the characters and stars, and after which we went to Magic Kingdom today. It's weird writing this from my bed room tonight considering I was just in Disney a few hours ago. We came home so quickly on account of the current tropical storm spinning out in the Atlantic. As I type, I hear wind hitting my windows and cows flying through the air.

I feel ready to take that step to pro. I just need my own higher-quality camera considering my aunt was nice enough to lend me hers for the duration of the trip. Until next time, whenever that is... (Was that so bad?)

Renascence Fair, Website

I have a few ideas for a website that I'm throwing together, using pictures from Rock on the River II back in May of 2011. Might have one up sooner or later. For now though, I went to a Renaissance Fair in Gainesville, FL on Saturday. Hoggetowne. Even though my face got sun burnt, it was still fun. Although I didn't take as many pictures as I was hoping for, I still think I got some good shots. It's a bit late but I've been sick and feeling lazy lately with the postings.
